Time for another post! So we hit 35 weeks tomorrow, so thought i'd provide another prego pic.

Yep, getting huge! Not sure there's much more room for him to grow in there if you ask me. The doctor says he's doing good, his heart beat was a little erratic at the last appointment so I got to do a couple of other tests, thank goodness my mom was with me! But all the tests came out fine and he's been moving lots since so hopefully there's nothing to worry about. We have another appointment next week so that'll be nice to check everything again just to put my mind at ease. Last weekend I had two baby showers, one with girls in our ward, and one with girls from work. The ward one was really fun, I appreciate getting to know the girls that I'll probably start hanging out with once I am a stay at home mom (only 6 more days of work!!). My boss threw my work one for me. Another girl at work made the cake we had and it was so adorable, I had to take a pic.

Everyone was so generous and gave us so much stuff, it was very humbling to know how nice people have been and continue to be. That's a lot of what has been going on around here. We've been trying to organize all the baby stuff, it's crazy how much stuff they need!! I realize every day how fast the due date is approaching, hopefully we will have everything ready for our little man! Last time we were in Utah together we were able to go to the Lehi rodeo with Laurie and Michael. We took a few pics so thought i'd share those as well.

Don't I have an adorable husband?! And no, me and Laurie did not plan on matching that day. We just do that naturally sometimes. :)

So I feel like its time for another update. As for us these last few weeks, we've been working, Rory's been playing on a softball team, we've been getting ready for the baby, doing our monthly Utah/doctor visits, and my tummy's just been growing and growing. The first pic is at 26 weeks, and the second is at 29 weeks which is what I am currently.

Over Memorial day weekend we were able to spend a long weekend in Utah. First with the Vernon's. We purchased a recliner which Rory's parents are graciously storing for us right now! And Rory's mom and sister Bree made a quilt we had been wanting to do for our little man. They put so much work into it, especially Colleen, and we appreciate it so much! The quilt turned out even better than expected! Hopefully Colleen and Bree have recovered from being on the floor cutting for hours that day! The twins were able to entertain themselves for a while and came out with stickers all over their little legs, luckily I was able to get a quick photo of both of them.

We also were able to spend time with my family at their cabin. Rory was able to go four wheeling which I got pictures of, but not with my camera. Laurie...you'll have to get those to me! Mom was nice enough to stay back with me and enjoy some great people watching and chatting time, Laurie joined us later too. Our latest project was a changing table that we bought at a second hand store and wanted to re-finish. Rory decided this weekend that painting wasn't as fun as he was thinking it was going to be, but it turned out great! I took a before and after pic... enjoy!

Joining the Blog World!

So I started this blog about a year and a half ago, but gave up when I couldn't figure out how to do it. I finally decided it was time to give it another go. Maybe now in our lives we'll have more exciting things to share. We found out in January that we are pregnant! We're pretty excited!!

Now its April, I'm 22 weeks along, and time seems like it is absolutely flying by!! The due date is August 22nd! The pregnancy has been much easier than I ever expected it would be. I have not had morning sickness at all, and feel great as long as I snack a lot throughout the day. Of course my belly has been growing and we haven't taken too many pictures but we took one at 17 weeks. Here it is:

We had a doctor's appointment about two weeks ago, we got to have an ultrasound and found out that we are having a boy!! I had a feeling all along that it was a boy, and oddly enough had 3 different dreams that the baby was a boy, so I was excited to find out that my instinct was right! It was amazing to see the ultrasound and see how much our little man moves around. Mostly it was amazing to find out that he is growing normal and has all his little body parts. It was very comforting to find out that everything was working how it is supposed to. We actually caught our little guy sucking his thumb during the ultrasound and it is the cutest picture ever!

Now its been about 5 weeks since we took a prego picture, so I figure I'm due to take another one. I'm pretty sure my tummy has grown lots!
